Gamma Impact has created a unique program for practitioners in finance and risk management, to expand their working knowledge of key areas in the business. About the founder
Leon Sandler lectures and consults on financial instruments and risk management at banks, insurance companies, investment banks, industrial companies, software houses and statutory bodies, including the Ministry of Finance and the Israel Securities Authority .
Over the last decade he has delivered hundreds of lectures to thousands of people in the financial sector, through internal courses at organizations and other forums, among them the Israeli Center of Management, the Lahav Executive Education school at Tel Aviv University, and the Caesarea Center for Capital Markets and Risk Management. He is also sought after to lecture at institutions of higher education and is presently teaching courses on derivatives and risk management at the Interdisciplinary Center of Herzliya. In the past he also lectured at various universities and colleges, including in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem`s prestigious EMBAF program.
Mr. Sandler has also worked at the asset management and liabilities department, and at the risk control unit, at Bank Mizrahi-Tefahot, and ran the collateral and product development unit at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In collaboration with Prof. Zvi Wiener, he co-authored the book "Financial Instruments and Risk Management" (Hebrew), published by Globes. It was highly successful and set a standard for the industry, according to Prof. Dan Galai.
Mr. Sandler holds an MBA, with a major in finance and accounting, and a BA with honors in Economics, both from Tel Aviv University.
